The Housing and Planning Minister has today just confirmed the proposed Government changes in the House of Commons – outlined in previous updates
He also confirmed the Government’s commitments to the changes outlined in the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024 – which will ‘make is easier and cheaper to extend leases or enfranchise (purchase a freehold) – although as yet he as not confirmed the timing of making these aspects of the 2024 Act operational
